Kerri talks Todd about the process of getting a driver's license in the United States.She got it when she was 17. I was surprised that we Japanese can`t drive a car when we become 18 years old.The way to get driver`s licence was changed since she was a teenager. They start driving with their parents. And also go to drivers education. And then they had to pass a driving test and a written test.I was very surprised this driver`s licence system.In Japan, if we drive a car with no licence even with our family, we violate a law.I thought there are a lot of different things around the world.

elllo Homestay in Poland

Charlotte talks Todd about her homestay experience in Poland.She went to Pouland because she learned Polish language and wanted to improve it.She lived with couple in their seventies and their children had moved away from home. They treated her like a second daughter.She learned a lot of things and felt another culture.They talked her about experiences during the Second World War in Poland.When I went to China, I was in trouble what talk with my host family.So this time I made conversations list,for example, my club activities in senior high school.I want to enjoy convesations with my host family.

Spring vacation

These days, I live a full life because I`m very busy.I have tests next week and prepare for New Zealand, and so on.I`m going to go to Taulanga in New zealand from February 23th to March 25th.I go alone and have to to the line at Korea and spend five hours there.I have little fear of that and there are a lot of earthquakes in NZ.I`ll go language school in Taulanga and stay with my host family.I want to spend good time in there and I want improve my English comunication skills.

elllo School of Mongolia

In Mongolia, they don’t have elementary school, school divided into three parts, but they have from 1st grade until 12th grade in one school .In there, mother and father usually work and when she finish the school, she go back and make her own food.Because in Mongolia mothers’ work is not. I was very surprised that kids are taught to clean up the home and cook their food and so on.I have to do like them.((haha

elllo Kiwi food

Mark talks Todd about food in New Zealand.The home stay student in New Zealand came back and talk about fish and chips, which is a traditional Friday night meal. The other one would be something called a pavlova which is similar to a large cake.And other food is vegemite, which is a breakfast. It’s nothing at all like chocolate.I want to try them!

elllo The Kiwi

Leo talks Todd about famous bird from New Zealand. At first, I thought it is a Kiwi fruits`s story, but this is not fruits!Kiwi birds story.Kiwi is a name of the native people of New Zealand.The people spoke similar pronunciation to the Japanese language.There are less than one thousand kiwis left so we can`t see Kiwi in New Zealand unless we go zoo.I was very surprised that Kiwi can`t fly.

elllo Tips for New Zealand

Todd asked Kate if somebody had a month to spend in New Zealand where does she recommend they go and what does she recommend they do?Aucklandis a nice big city, but more important thing about New Zealand is the smaller countryside parts of New Zealand, north than Auckland. She recommend to go to beaches and a place called ‘Cape Reinga’ . We can see  there the Pacific ocean.
